Every day I try and walk for an hour across the fields near our house in the Oxfordshire countryside. I did it initially to get fit, but now I do it because, without fail, I see something interesting and I always come back with an idea.
Saw this by Florike Martens in Selfridges the other day and thought it was neat. Part of their Dutch collaboration. Simply attach stove to your bicycle, stock up on local foods en route and you're on your way to the perfect picnic. So long as there are no hills.
Visiting mum in beautiful Malvern this weekend so will pop into my favourite shop, Baileys. Took these last time we went and hoping to have some more delicious cake in the new tabernacle tea room.
These goats cheese and onion chutney croustades (as seen over at great family food blog Crumbs) are my signature canape (by which I mean I don't know how to make any other sort). They have been a firm family favourite at gatherings for years; sooo easy to make, delicious with a glass of champagne and the kids wolf them too. Try and use caramelised red onion chutney if you can - tastes even better.
I'm going to be helping out the lovely Sarah Lidwell-Durnin at e-boutique Natural History for the next few weeks. Please pay a visit and take a look at some of her gorgeous linens, homewares and accessories. Top of my wishlist are the laboratory vases (above), the beetle tea towels and a set of towels (so big and fluffy, amazing quality). You can also catch Sarah on her blog.
Unless otherwise stated, all pictures and photos are from my scrap/look books. If I've used a photo of yours unknowingly, many apologies. Feel free to tell me off and ask me to take it down or credit it correctly.
